Revenues is the amount paid by the users to get the applications you sell. Not all of this money however get into your pockets.
All stores get some sort of commission out of your sales: some get a fixed percentage (Apple iTunes reserves 30% for example), others get a variable percentage according to the number of sales you get, and some others apply a fixed transaction fee + a percentage of the transaction amount.
Profit is the revenues minus the stores' commissions, and it's actually what you get. In other words, it's probably the value you're mostly interested in!
While the profit amounts can't always be 100% accurate, we studied the policies of all stores we integrate with, and considered those rules to implement our formulas.
So, while the resulting Profit isn't a value you can use for your official company's reports, it should give you a pretty clear idea of how much you're earning from your applications.
